Kira Crook - Kindergarten A
Thanks for stopping by! I am the morning kindergarten teacher here at Connor Academy. The 2015-2016 year was my first year here at the school, and the first full year of teaching since I graduated in 2007 from ISU with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in math.
I was born and raised in Pocatello and have traveled to many fun places around the states and a few more around the world. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I never played "house" with my friends, I didn't want to play barbies. I wanted to play school, and I was the only one that could ever be the teacher. In high school I did a couple classes that allowed me to do some work in classrooms around town. That solidified my desire to teach. I went on to college and recieved my degree, then chose to stay home to raise my children until they were ready to head to school themselves. When this position opened up I couldn't pass up the amazing opportunity to work with the staff and parents that make this school what it is!
I have three little girls that are my world! We love to camp, swim, take bike rides around our neighborhood, read books together, travel and have family time. For down time I like to read books, sleep and hang out with my friends.
