SPED Paraprofessional

Nature and Scope of Job: Responsible for assisting with specially designed learning activities within a classroom environment. Responsibilities may include: one-on-one student instruction, small group student instruction, correcting/grading papers, recess duties, and photocopying. Duties sometimes include assistance with toileting. Applicant should be prepared to work with students who require extra practice learning how to integrate into the school environment and assimilate into the general education classroom.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 19 hours a week; through May 2026

Rate of Pay: $16.00 an hour

Minimum requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Paraprofessional Certification (Associate's Degree or ParaPro Assessment)

  • Experience working with elementary children preferred
