In order to take Driver's Education and obtain a permit, a Verification of Compliance letter must be presented to the Department of Motor Vehicles. To request this letter, please email the Alpine secretary with the following student information:
Legal name
Date of birth
Address
Verification of Compliance letters may only be picked up via hard copy in the front office. The DMV requires a wet signature that is not accepted via fax or e-mail/PDF. VOC letters Allow a minimum of 48 hours after the submitted request, Monday through Friday. Please plan ahead! If the information provided does not match what we have on file, we cannot print your VOC. The front office is unable to process immediate and same day requests or fax/e-mail VOCs directly to the DMV.
