Part-time Educational Assistant
Nature and Scope of Job: Responsible for assisting with learning activities within a classroom environment. Responsibilities may include: correcting/grading papers, photocopying, classroom management, monitoring students during lunch and recess, one-on-one instruction, and substitution.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 19 hours a week; through May 2025.
Rate of Pay: $15.00 an hour

Secretary

Position: Secretary
Salary: $15.00 - $19.00 an hour, depending on experience with the school
Availability: Must be available to work from 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, and be looking for a long-term (3+ year) commitment to the school. This position mainly supports Alpine Academy, grades 6th-8th.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
Answer phone calls, emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
Maintain student records, attendance logs, administer first aid, and other administrative tasks.
Prepare and manage documents, correspondence, and office supplies.
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and school events.
Perform other clerical duties as needed to support school operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred).
Previous office or administrative experience, preferably in a school setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Pass a typing test: minimum 45 words per minute
Proficient in basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Part-Time Janitor
Nature and Scope of Job: Routine custodial cleaning, general maintenance, groundskeeping tasks both in school buildings and grounds to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment. This includes the use of electrically powered equipment, cleaning substances that may involve related hazards, outdoor work in inclement weather conditions, as well as managing inventory and ordering supplies.
Schedule: 19 hours a week, through June 2024. Three week day afternoons 11:00am-4:00pm and Saturday 5:00-10:00pm.
Rate of Pay: $16.00 an hour
Minimum requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Organizational and inventory skills
Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment
